Scan to PDF Converter - FAQs

Getting Started

How do I scan documents to PDF?

To scan documents to PDF, simply open our app and select the 'Scan' option. Position your document within the camera frame, capture the image, and then tap 'Convert to PDF'. You can scan multiple pages and they'll be combined into a single PDF file.

What devices are supported?

Our Scan to PDF converter works on both iOS and Android smartphones, as well as tablets. For desktop users, we offer a web version that works with most modern browsers and a Windows/Mac application for more advanced features.

Is there a limit to the number of pages I can scan?

The free version allows you to scan up to 10 pages per document. Our premium subscription removes this limit and also provides additional features like OCR (text recognition) and advanced editing tools.

Features & Functionality

Can I edit the PDF after scanning?

Yes! Our app includes basic editing tools to crop, rotate, or reorder pages. With the premium version, you can also annotate, add signatures, merge multiple PDFs, and even extract text using OCR technology.

Does the app support OCR (text recognition)?

Yes, our premium version includes advanced OCR capabilities that can recognize text in your scanned documents. This allows you to search within the PDF and copy text from the document.

Can I scan in low light conditions?

Our app has an auto-enhance feature that improves scan quality in various lighting conditions. For best results, we recommend scanning in well-lit areas, but the app will automatically adjust brightness and contrast when needed.

Sharing & Storage

How can I share my scanned PDFs?

After scanning, you can share your PDF via email, messaging apps, or cloud storage services directly from the app. Supported platforms include Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, and OneDrive.

Where are my scanned documents stored?

Scanned documents are stored locally on your device by default. You can choose to automatically back them up to your preferred cloud service. Premium users get 5GB of secure cloud storage with our service.

Is there a file size limit for sharing?

The free version limits shared files to 25MB. Premium users can share files up to 100MB. For larger documents, we recommend using cloud storage links instead of direct attachments.

Account & Subscription

Is the app free to use?

Yes, we offer a free version with basic scanning and PDF conversion features. For advanced functionality like OCR, unlimited scans, cloud storage, and ad-free experience, you can upgrade to our premium subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings (Google Play Store or Apple App Store). Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Is my data secure with your service?

We take privacy seriously. All document processing happens on your device unless you choose to use cloud features. Our cloud storage uses end-to-end encryption, and we never share or sell your data.
